eLSST at UW
LSST is currently in research and development and soon to enter construction. In order to build the best survey telescope we possibly can, various groups are creating and evaluating simulations of all aspects of LSST. The output of these simulations is also intended to be evaluated by the Science Collaborations, so we here at UW are also providing some tools and information for this purpose.
What you will find in these eLSST pages are interfaces and information on what the UW SSG group are providing for LSST simulations (such as star and galaxy catalogs). Please note that there may be other products we haven't had time to write up for the webpages yet. You will also find tools that we have developed to help us analyze simulation output (such as the lightcurve sampling tool for the opsim output).
To download tool scripts or tarballs, login will be required. Please contact Lynne Jones if you need the username/password.
If there are other tools that you would like to see developed (and would like to request some help with) or if you have suggestions for improvements in LSST simulations, we welcome your input!
